I began my professional career during my college years with a series of 9 commercials for a regional dairy company. After being lucky enough to receive a full honors scholarship from the University of Maine at Orono, I studied my junior year in Canterbury, England, interning at The Marlowe Theatre, as well as the theater program through the British Studies Centre (IAU), and Television & Film Production at Christ Church College.
I branched into casting working with inde films, commercials, and print. Major films also used my services for location casting including MAN WITHOUT A FACE, IN THE BEDROOM, and EMPIRE FALLS. I also worked as a First AD on projects including a feature film shot in Maine and in Florida, BABY, IT’S COLD OUTSIDE. I was also a founding member of The Maine Film & Television Association, serving as Treasurer for 3 years, and still hold a Governor appointed position on the Maine Film Commission Board since 2002, serving as chair for some years.
